Biography

Cristinel was born in Bucharest to a musical family. 

.

Cristinel began playing the violin at the “George Enescu School of Music” where he gained his diploma. He then continued his studies at the National University of Music in Bucharest and Ohio University . In 2007 he gained a full scholarship to Arizona State University to undertake a Masters in Violin Performance 

.

Cristinel has studied and is actively performing as a viola player in various orchestras and string quartets.

Cristinel has regularly been engaged as a guest leader and as a soloist with various orchestras in the Midlands.

Cristinel is based in Birmingham, and is developing a portfolio career as a freelance violinist, violist and music educator.

Cristinel's violin concerto repertoire includes those of Bach, Beethoven, Beethoven Triple, Brahms, Brahms Double, Dvorak, Glazunov, Mozart Mendelssohn, Paganini, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi,  Barber.
